One of the reasons I’m starting this blog is that some time ago I was stupid enough to sign up for Seattle Marathon, which will take place in November. It will be my first marathon (lack of injuries permitting, knock on the wood), so I’d like to document my training process in some non-trivial detail. But if keep posting this stuff on the “usual” social media, I’m afraid people will banish me from the Internet; hence the blog.
For now, I’ll complete one more week of training, then run a “graduation” 5k parkrun to properly calibrate my VDOT. Then two weeks completely off running, and after that I’ll start the marathon training block.
